01These terms

Raku Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 80 635 175 843), "Raku", "we" or "us", runs a program that pays creators a commission when people they refer buy a Sight plan. The program runs on PromoteKit, an affiliate service, at raku.promotekit.com. You agree to these terms when you sign up there.

These terms are separate from our Terms of Service, which apply if you also use Sight. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

02Joining

• You apply on PromoteKit, which gives you a link and a promo code.
• Raku approves every creator. Until we approve you, your link and your code earn nothing. We may decline an application without giving a reason.
• You must be at least 18, and give true details about who you are and where you share.
• One creator account per person.

03What you earn

40% of each payment a customer you referred makes for their Sight plan, for 12 months after their first payment. PromoteKit works out your commission from the payments our payment processor records, in Australian dollars.

Your promo code gives the customer 20% off their first payment. Commission is worked out on what they actually pay.

04Free access to Sight

Once we approve you, we may give your Sight company the Starter plan free for 3 months, so you can make content about Sight. Ask for it by email.

• We may renew it if you publish at least 2 public posts or videos about Sight a month. We decide at each renewal, and tell you by email.
• It is for making content about Sight. Do not use it for paid work, and do not pass it on or resell it.
• It ends when its time runs out, when you leave the program, or when we remove you.
• Our Terms of Service apply to your use of Sight, as for any customer.

05What counts

A payment counts when all of these are true:

• the customer arrived through your link in the 60 days before buying, or typed your promo code when they bought. If they used another creator's link after yours, the later link counts. A promo code typed at checkout counts over any link;
• the plan was paid by card on Sight's Plan page;
• you were approved when they bought.

These never count:

• your own purchase;
• a purchase by a company you work for or belong to, or by anyone with the same work email domain as you (a shared email service such as Gmail is not a work domain);
• a payment that is refunded or disputed. If commission was already worked out on it, it is taken back;
• a purchase made through a link or code shared in a way these terms do not allow.

Sight checks each referral before the payment is made, and records why one was left out. If you think one was left out by mistake, tell us.

06Getting paid

• We pay commission monthly, once you are owed A$50 or more, about 30 days after the end of the month in which you earned it.
• You keep your payment details in PromoteKit correct. We are not responsible for a payment sent to details you gave.
• You are responsible for your own tax, including GST if you are registered for it.
• We may hold a payment while we look into a referral we believe breaks these terms.

07How you share Sight

• Say that you earn a commission, clearly, wherever you share your link or code.
• Say only true things about Sight: what it does today is on raku.so. Do not promise results, prices or features we do not offer.
• Do not send messages or emails people did not ask for.
• Do not bid on "Raku" or "Sight" in search ads, or use a name, account or domain that could pass for ours.
• Do not offer a discount other than your promo code, or pay people to buy.
• Do not use fake clicks, automated traffic or any trick that makes a referral look like something it is not.

08Customers' details

PromoteKit may show you the email address of each customer you referred, so you can see your referrals. You must keep those details private and use them only to follow your referrals in PromoteKit. Do not contact customers with them, copy them anywhere else, share them or sell them, and delete any copy when you leave the program. If you handle them, you do so under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where it applies to you.

09Leaving and removal

• You can leave at any time by telling us.
• We may remove you from the program at any time. From then on, your link and code earn nothing.
• Commission you earned before you left or were removed is still paid, unless you broke these terms. If you did, we may cancel commission that has not been paid.
• We may end the program, telling you by email at least 30 days before.

10Changes to these terms

We may change these terms or the commission. We will email you at least 30 days before a change that reduces what you earn, and update the date at the top of this page. Commission you have already earned is not affected.

11Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria decide any dispute. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Nothing in them makes you Raku's employee, agent or partner.
